The New York Philharmonic This Week is pre-empted for 2 Holiday Specials

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 “The New York Philharmonic This Week” is pre-empted so that we can bring you two holiday specials: “Christmas with the Morehouse and Spelman Glee Clubs” and “An Afro-Blue Christmas”.

Monday, December 18: The New York Philharmonic (NYP 24-13) PRE-EMPTED

7:00 pm: Christmas with Morehouse and Spelman Glee Clubs

The choirs of Morehouse and Spelman Colleges get together to present a spine-tingling concert program in this encore presentation featuring the best works of the last several years.

8:00 pm: An Afro Blue Christmas

Howard University's premiere a cappella vocal ensemble Afro Blue and special guest pianist Cyrus Chestnut perform one-of-a-kind arrangements on traditional holiday songs plus new compositions.
