Black History Month Special: “Take Me To The Water” & “The Middle”

Tonight at 7:00 on WILL-FM 90.9 we pre-empt “The Sound of 13” to bring you a Black History Month special “Take Me to the Water”, a program that touches on themes from African mythology and water’s transportive nature.  At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, non-partisan call-in talk show on politics.

Pre-empted for a Black History Month special from APM called “Take Me to The Water.”

A one-hour special hosted by Vernon Neal that focuses on harpist Ashley Jackson’s program “Take Me to the Water” recorded at American Public Medias studios. “Take Me to the Water” is an immersive audio experience that touches on themes from African mythology, the antebellum spiritual tradition and water’s transportive, transmogrifying nature.

Thursday, February 15, 8:00 pm: The Middle (24-07)

A weekly, nonpartisan, live, call-in talk show specifically focused on elevating the voices of the people in the middle of the country.
