The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is pre-empted for 2 Holiday Specials

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is pre-empted so that we can bring you two holiday specials: “In Winter's Glow” and “The Christmas Revels: In Celebration of the Winter Solstice”.

Wednesday, December 20: Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO 23-12) PRE-EMPTED

7:00 pm: A Winter's Solstice

A winter solstice program, with modern classical sounds for the longest night of the year, chosen especially to complement the chilly, starry nights of the season.

8:00 pm: The Christmas Revels: In Celebration of the Winter Solstice 2023

It’s a musical celebration of the Winter holidays – Advent, Chanukah, the Solstice, Christmas, Dongzhi, New Year’s, and Twelfth Night/Epiphany -- featuring traditional carols, wassails, hymns, ballads, children’s game-songs, and folk dance-tunes excerpted from live Christmas Revels stage productions presented around the country.
