Evening Concert

“Mainly-Mendelssohn” from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra

 

Tonight at 7:00 on WILL-FM; it’s “The Evening Concert”, featuring the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra with a ‘mostly-Mendelssohn’ program.  Principal Violinist Frank Almond is the soloist in Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor. Gilbert Varga conducts.  Also on the program, Mendelssohn’s “Hebrides” Overture, the “Italian” Symphony and the Nocturne from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
