Michael Tilson Thomas conducts the San Francisco Symphony in Mahler’s 9th Symphony

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the second program in the new season of San Francisco Symphony broadcasts. Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT) conducts. Mahler’s 9th is the featured work, his last symphony, which MTT describes as “a defiant affirmation of life”.    Also on the broadcast, Debussy’ “La Mer” (The Sea).
