Marc-Andre Hamelin plays Liszt’s “1st Piano Concerto” with the Budapest Festival Orchestra

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert’ on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “Carnegie Hall Live!”.  Marc-Andre Hamelin is the soloist in Liszt’s “Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major” with the Budapest Festival Orchestra led by Music Director Ivan Fischer.  Also on the program Weber’s “Overture to the opera “Der Freischutz” and Prokofiev’s 5th Symphony.
