Pinchas Zukerman Plays Bruch’s 1st Violin Concerto with the San Francisco Symphony
Tonight at 7:00 on "The Evening Concert" on WILL, FM-90.9 it’s the first of this year’s San Francisco Symphony broadcasts. Michael Tilson Thomas is the Music Director of the San Francisco Symphony. Pinchas Zukerman is the soloist in Bruch’s “Violin Concerto in G Minor". The program opens with Wagner's Overture to “Tannhauser” and closes with Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony. Semyon Bychkov guest conducts.
