‘Piano Festival of the Ruhr’ and Beethoven’s ‘Violin Concerto’ on this week’s ‘“Evening Concert”

 

This week [Monday, August 18 - SUnday, August 24, 2014] on the Evening Concert it’s the “Piano Festival of the Ruhr”. . . then “Four Legends of the Kalevala” from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Wednesday Augustin Hadelich plays Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the San Francisco Symphony; Thursday it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week” and Sunday, Chamber Music from Lincoln Center and Santa Fe… The “Evening Concert" is heard Monday through Thursday & Sunday evenings at 7:00 on WILL, FM-90.9.
