Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear music by Arensky, Lutoslawski and Bartok for two pianists at one or two pianos on “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 8:00 you’ll hear de la Rue’s “Mass of Joy” on “Early Music Now”.

Pierre de la Rue's Missa cum Jocunditate certainly lives up to its title: Mass with Joy! We'll hear this engaging work interspersed with plainchant, sung by Cappella Pratensis, with organ improvisations by Wim Diepenhorst.
