The Evening Concert for Monday, May 5, 2014: Haydn’s “Symphony No. 104” on Salzburg Festival 2013

Tonight at 7:00 on “The Evening Concert” on WILL-FM it’s “Salzburg Festival 2013”. Ivor Bolton conducts the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra in Haydn’s “London” Symphony. Also on the program, Daniele Gatti conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Concert Chorus, and vocal soloists in selections from Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg the only comedy among his mature operas.
