Music by Beethoven and Berlioz on tonight’s “Evening Concert”

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s a  “Deutsche Welle Festival Concert” from Leipzig. Herbert Blomstedt leads the Saxon Staatskapelle Dresden in Beethoven’s “Egmont Overture”.  You’ll also hear Maestro Blomstedt lead the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig in Berlioz’ “Symphonie fantastique”.
