Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s Handel's Messiah on “The New York Philharmonic This Week” plus two Holiday Specials: Jonathan Winters' A Christmas Carol and Festivo Alt.Latino Christmas.

Jonathan Winters “A Christmas Carol”

An updated version of a public radio tradition hosted by NPR's Susan Stamberg. Master comedian Jonathan Winters presents a distinctive reading of Dickens' holiday classic, with a special performing edition prepared by Dickens for his own presentations; Feat. Mimi Kennedy.

Festivo Alt.Latino Christmas

Alt.Latino continues its home grown tradition of celebrating the Holidays in song with a special show featuring songwriter/performer Gaby Moreno and her  band performing tracks from her popular 2014 album Posada.

Moreno will perform in Austin, Texas in the midst of a tour that has taken her across the US and Europe. She will be joined by special guests: Austin 2015 Musician of the Year Gina Chavez and Chicano Zen bandleader and record producer Michael Ramos.
