Salonen conducts the New York Philharmonic in his “Violin Concerto”, Leila J solos

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Guest conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the group in Ravel’s “Mother Goose” Ballet Suite and Sibelius’ 5th Symphony. Also on the program Leila Josefowicz is the soloist in conductor Salonen’s “Violin Concerto”.
