Britten’s “War Requiem” from Cologne on tonight’s “Evening Concert”

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” it’s another “Deutsche Welle Festival Concert”, this one from Cologne, Germany. A metaphorical “cast of thousands” perform Benjamin Britten’s “War Requiem” of 1961-62.  You’ll hear choirs from Coventry Cathedral, St. Luke’s and more, and youth orchestras from France and Germany.
