“Haydn Festival” from Bruhl on the “Evening Concert”
Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s a “Deutsche Welle Festival Concert” from Bruhl. Concerto Koln is featured in three minor-key symphonies by Haydn, the 34th, the 26th, and the 46th. Also on the program mandolin concertos by Kauchlitz and Hoffmann.

A ten-day fest dedicated to Papa Haydn with the splendid Concerto Köln as orchestra-in-residence: this one has three Haydn symphonies and an opera overture – and two works for the mandolin.
