Leonidas Kavakos plays Sibelius’ “Violin Concerto” with the Philharmonic on the “Evening Concert”

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Music Director Alan Gilbert conducts.  Leonidas KAVakos is the soloist in Sibelius’ “Violin Concerto”. Also on the program Esa-Pekka Salonen’s 2014 composition “Karawane” for Chorus and Orchestra.
