Branford Marsalis plays classical music for saxophone on tonight’s “Evening Concert”

 

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  You’ll hear Bizet’s “Symphony in C”.  Susanna Mälkki guest conducts. Also on the program Branford Marsalis plays Faure’s “Pavane for Soprano Saxophone” and John Williams’ “Escapades for Alto Saxophone”.
