Thomas Hampson sings “Old American Songs” and other Americana on the “Evening Concert”

 

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Thomas Hampson is the baritone soloist in a few of Copland’s “Old American Songs” and other Americana. Bramwell Tovey guest conducts. Also on the program Ives’ “Variations on ‘America’ ” and Elgar’s “Enigma Variations”.
