Vladimir Ashkenazy conducts the German S.O., Berlin in Latin America
Tonight at 7 on The Evening Concert, it’s “The German Symphony-Orchestra of Berlin in Latin America” from Deutsche Welle Festival Concerts. Vladimir Ashkenazy conducts the group in Mahler’s 5th Symphony. Also on the program, Richard Strauss’ “Don Juan” and Mendelssohn’s “Overture to a Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
