From San Francisco, a Shostakovich concerto and a ballet suite by Stravinsky

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Yuja Wang play Shostakovich’s “1st Piano Concerto” with the San Francisco Symphony. Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas conducts.  Also on the program, Stravinsky’s “Firebird Suite” and “Song of the Nightingale”.
