Bach’s “Cantata No. 80” & Mendelssohn’s “2nd Symphony” from Leipzig . .

 

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Deutsche Welle Festival Concerts” with “Bachfest Leipzig”.  Gotthold Schwarz conducts the Handel Festival Orchestra Halle in Bach’s “Cantata No. 80, A Mighty Fortress…” Also on the program Mendelssohn’s “2nd Symphony”, the “Song of Praise”.
