Team Member Gabby Bio

Hello everyone!
My name is Gabby and I am an 18 year-old senior at Urbana High School.  I was born in Evanston, Illinois but our family moved to Urbana when i was young for an employment position my father acquired.  He has been working very hard within the community to serve and help others in need, and I hope to follow in his footsteps.  I came to work with WILL through the Executive Internship Program offered by my school, which allows for senior students in admirable academic and historical standing to be able to use part of their school day to work in businesses within the community.  WILL was presented due to my interest in the field of Sociology (my preferred major in college), and my interest in doing community service like my father.  While interning here I will be introduced to an array of information and opportunities including technology, radio, video, interviewing methods, and involvement with some of the largest projects WILL will be focusing on in my second semester; mainly Youth Media and Letters to the Future.  I hope to bring great help to WILL and also learn a great deal!
