My name is Sunjay Koshy and I have been working as a WILL intern for three years helping to create the University Laboratory High School radio broadcasts. My favorite hobbies are playing the piano, reading, writing, and biking.

I came to Illinois from California and I got involved in this project because it gave me a way of learning about the community. I think communities are made up of the stories of the people who live and work in a place. The stories that we have been working with are the less-known experiences and struggles of people. Our broadcasts help to bring these stories to the public and, in the process, change how the community imagines itself. The broadcasts also create an archive that perhaps other people may build on later.
