Jefferson girls are nuts!

The YMW girls love to eat anything and everything.  Especially expired peanut granola bars from the food pantry.  😊  They ask for it every week, but what they don't realize is that they are expired.  😜  But they are still good, otherwise the food pantry would not give them away.  You all are too sensitive, you know you would still eat them. :lol:

It's interesting working with everyone about a topic they are interested in.  The ideas we have so far are pretty cool and span a large range of oral history in our community.  I am intrigued to see what kind of experiences and moments African Americans have had regarding these issues in our community.

Another interesting thought was how advanced and smart our girls are with the video cameras.  They have not only critiques their own videos but are learning to steady their shots, work on lighting, decide on what sounds they want to include, and many other things.

JMS girls rock.

On a side note.  I have been enjoying myself through this process of self discovery, I am excited to see what they will learn through the interviews.  I am good to go for the rest of the year as I have many more boxes of granola bars!
