Profile, Amos Lee

Hello, my name is Amos Lee (no not the singer) and I currently teach Social Studies and AVID at Jefferson Middle School.  I enjoy teaching and relating with the YMW group here at Jefferson.  They are lively, fun, critical thinkers, and passionate about their topics.  It has been a joy to see them growing and seeing the opportunities available through this program.  Their diligence and commitment have been sobering and I am excited to see what they will produce in the spring.

I first got involved with YMW because I believe in the power of technology and the power of stories.  In today's information age we constantly suffer from information overload.  Therefore, stories rule the day.  It is a privilege to see the girls thinking through and working through their stories.
