Apollo’s Fire Baroque Orchestra and Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” in Urbana

Of her Apollo’s Fire Baroque Orchestra, music director Jeannette Sorrell says that if “the audience is moved to tears, or joy, or laughter, or prayer, then we have done a good night’s work.” Apollo’s Fire will play in Urbana next Wednesday evening, and I’ll talk with Ms. Sorrell on the Friday edition of “Live and Local.” We’ll also hear a live preview of Shakespeare’s The Tempest at the University of Illinois.
