Few artists have had the sustaining influence over music and the American culture of Woody Guthrie.  As the voice of the people during the depression and World War II, Guthrie represented the struggles of the common man. This Saturday would have been Woody Guthrie's 100th birthday, and 20-some local singers will pay tribute with a concert in downtown Champaign. We'll have a preview on the Monday edition of Live and Local.
