German Guitarist Eva Beneke in Springfield and Champaign-Urbana Folk and Roots

Classical guitarist Eva Beneke was born in East Berlin, won prizes at international festivals in The Netherlands, Italy and the United States, and now teaches in Minnesota. She often collaborates with singers, a pan flutist and other guitarists and will play a solo recital in Springfield next Saturday. I’ll talk to Eva Beneke on the Monday edition of “Live and Local.” And we’ll hear details of the Champaign-Urbana Folk and Roots Festival, happening next weekend.
