“The Birth of Bond: Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale at 60” is a collaborative celebration between several elements at the University of Illinois, with exhibits, a keynote lecture and a concert of music from the Bond films. On the Monday edition of “Live and Local,” I’ll talk with Scott Schwartz of the Sousa Archives and Center for American Music about this event. We’ll also hear about Thursday’s concert by the UI Percussion Ensemble.
