Three Part Invention open the Kirkland Fine Arts Center’s new season

On the Friday edition of the show, I'll talk with two members of the trio called Three Part Invention, who open the Kirkland Fine Arts Center's season in Decatur Saturday night. Inspired by their love of Bach, cellist Mike Block and electric violinist Tracy Silverman combine their classical training and their background in rock & roll, jazz and avant-garde music to create a new improvisatory sound.
