Weekend Concerts by Amasong and the Baroque Artists of Champaign Urbana

Sunday night in Urbana, the Baroque Artists of Champaign Urbana will perform George Frideric Handel’s popular oratorio Judas Maccabeus, named for one of the greatest warriors in Jewish history. I’ll talk with music director Chester Alwes on the Wednesday edition of “Live and Local.” And we’ll meet the new director of Champaign-Urbana’s women’s chorus Amasong, who will give their spring concerts this weekend.
