Autopsy: Dwight Mother, Daughter Shot To Death
Police in the Livingston County town of Dwight say an autopsy shows that a mother and daughter killed in a home over the weekend were shot to death.
The Bloomington Pantagraph reports that that 60-year-old Donna Denker and 30-year-old Kelli Denker were killed on Saturday. A man also was shot and is recovering, but police have not released his name.
Police say they were called to the home around 4:30 a.m. Saturday after receiving a call from a man who said he'd been shot.
Authorities have said little publicly about the investigation, but say several agencies are working on the case.
Donna Denker was a retired mental health technician, and Kelli Denker was a manager at the Dwight Dairy Queen.
Neighbor Laura Haacke describes the women as "good people.''
