Budget Impasse Affects Child Care Assistance Program
With no state budget in place, the Illinois Department of Human Services has implemented changes to the Child Care Assistance Program that drastically reduce eligibility for the program. Dr. Elizabeth Powers is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois Institute of Government and Public Affairs.
