Champaign Man Wounded in Shooting

 

The latest shooting incident in Champaign happened in the pre-dawn hours Friday morning in the northwest part of the city.

A 26 year old man was shot and wounded. He told police he was a passenger in a vehicle parked in a driveway on Bradley Avenue, when someone wearing a black hooded sweatshirt approached the car, and fired a handgun through its open window.

The victim was treated at a hospital for injuries that are not life-threatening.
