Pens To Lens Gala At The Virginia Theatre

Coming up Saturday, August 9th, in Champaign at the Virginia Theatre, a gala event--including a red carpet walk--for a project called Pens to Lens.

Pens to Lens gets school kids, grades K through 12, to write movie scripts and then local filmmakers bring those stories to life. Illinois Public Media’s Jason Croft talked with two of the organizers, Thomas Nicol and A.J. Christensen. He first asked Nicol to give an overview of the project.
