“O Ewiges Feuer, O Ursprung der Liebe,” BWV 34a

“Herr, gehe nicht ins Gericht,” BWV 105

The cantatas are among Bach’s most significant works. These two, for Pentecost and for Trinity, are from his Leipzig period at the Thomaskirche when he wrote a different cantata for each Sunday of the liturgical year. The new director of choral activites leads the Allerton Bach Choir, Orchestra, and soloists.
