Celebrating Vermilion County
On this week’s Prairie Performances, we help celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Vermilion County with music from the Danville Symphony Orchestra. The program includes the final movement of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony no. 41 in C major K. 551, the first and fourth movements of William Grant Still’s Symphony no. 4, and Édouard Lalo’s Cello Concerto in D minor, as well as comments from Music Director and Conductor Matthew Sheppard.
