Classically Black: William Warfield

We end Black History Month with a portrait of William Warfield, singer, storyteller, and educator.  Known affectionately as “Uncle Bill” to his many students at the University of Illinois, he was a much sought after coach and mentor. We share a glimpse into his life and his legacy.
