On this week's Prairie Performances, Friday night at 7 pm on WILL-FM 90.9, an exciting offering of acclaimed masterworks and engaging discoveries will have you on the edge of your seat. Our Music Alive Composer-in-Residence Stacy Garrop will introduce three compelling portraits from her Mythology Symphony. Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto is perhaps the most perfect ever composed. The Champaign-Urbana Symphony will be joined by Stefan Milenkovich. The evening concludes with Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, which is always thrilling to hear.
