Sinfonia da Camera ‘Lilacs’

George Walker joins with Sinfonia for a world première of his work for cello and orchestra featuring Dmitry Kouzov, and a performance of his Pulitzer-Prize-winning Lilacs, praised by the Pulitzer Jury as a “…passionate, and very American, musical composition...has a beautiful and evocative lyrical quality using words of Walt Whitman.”
