On this week's Prairie Performances, Friday at 7 pm on WILL-FM 90.9: Enjoy music from a concert by the Millikin-Decatur Symphony led by Sergey Bogza. Calling to mind a recent solar eclipse, a musical observation of “The Planets” by Gustav Holst is in order before we close out the year. Next a look inward with a piece by American composer Alan Hovhaness, “Meditation on Orpheus,” and a look back with a performance of Igor Stravinsky’s “Petruschka” with former conductor Michael Luxner.
