Illinois state lawmakers are returning to Springfield for a special session. We were joined by a group of reporters to discuss new legislative maps and a sweeping clean-energy proposal aimed at fighting climate change. 

U.S. Census Bureau offices are scheduled to complete their work by next Wednesday, September 30. We’ll talk with census experts about the importance of a full and accurate count, and what an undercount could mean for Illinois.

On Today's 21st: The 2020 Census will officially begin this week, but with Coronavirus cases on the rise, could that create problems in the census-taking process?  

Illinois is in a precarious position when it comes to the 2020 census. The count determines congressional representation, and the state is at risk for losing up to two seats.
