The Boneyard Arts Festival – presented by 40 North and Champaign County Arts Council – returns this weekend for its annual four-day event showcasing a range of different artists in the community.

Anna Troutt says she loves poetry—but unlike art, she says it is hard to find and even harder to consume. However, the University Laboratory High School Student says she thinks she can bring together the community through poetry. 

The countywide Boneyard Arts Festival is now in its 15th year. Illinois Public Media's Brian Moline previewed this year's event, presented by 40 North/88 West, with Smile Politely arts and culture writer Sarah Keim.

The annual arts festival features hundreds of artists at more than 90 venues throughout Champaign County.
