Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “Carnegie Hall Live”.  Cello sensation Sheku Kanneh-Mason and his sister, pianist Isata play cello sonatas by Rachmaninoff and Barber. Also on the program Beethoven’s “Twelve Variations on “Ein Mädchen oder Weibchen”.

Pianists on the program tonight include Alessio Bax, Lucille Chung, Wu Han, and Kirill Gerstein.

You'll also hear a cello sonata by Grieg and a piano trio by Brahms.

Gary Hoffman is the soloist in Saint-Saens' "1st Cello Sonata', plus lutenist Ronn McFarlane plays "Celtic Music' on "Early Music Now".

Also a "Clarinet Trio" by Zemlinsky, and "Music of the Trecento" on "Early Music Now".
