Thursday night April 28th at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Music Director Ken-David Masur leads the group in “Classic era” symphonies by Mozart, C.P.E. Bach, Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Franz Xaver Richter and Johann Stamitz. Also on the program, Beethoven’s “1st Symphony”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s another Deutsche Welle Festival Concert from Schwetzingen. The Academy of Early Music Berlin plays Beethoven’s “Eroica” Symphony. Bernhard Forck conducts. Also on the program a symphony from Beethoven’s time that was banned in Vienna.

You'll hear symphonies number one and two by LVB and 2 symphonies and a concerto for two harpsichords by CPE.

Also on the program music by Mozart, Bach, CPE Bach, and Scarlatti.
