Monday night January 29 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Wagner’s “Overture to Tannhauser”, Debussy’s “La Mer”, Berg’s “Lyric Suite” and Elliott Carter’s “Symphony of Three Orchestras” as well as other works.

Sunday night at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear Schumann’s “Piano Quintet” from Santa Fe, followed at 7:00 by Charles Ives’ “2nd String Quartet” from Lincoln Center and at 8:00 by Latin American classical music for winds on “Fiesta”.

Sunday night April 9 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear a wind quintet arrangement of Ravel’s “Le Tombeau de Couperin” on the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 8:00 you’ll hear Latin American music for Easter on “Fiesta”.

Monday night June 20 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. It’s a program of works that had their world premieres by the Philharmonic, like Dvorak’s “New World Symphony”, Copland’s “Connotations for Orchestra” and Corigliano’s “Clarinet Concerto”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  David Robertson conducts the Philharmonic in Pierre Boulez’ “explosante-fixe”, Michael Jarrell’s “Liedrzyklus” and Elliott Carter’s “Two Controversies”. You’ll also hear Gruber’s “Frankenstein” and Lunsqui’s “Fibres, Yarns, and Fabrik”.
