Sunday night January 29 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear Nino Rota’s “Trio for Flute, Violin, and Piano” on the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 8:00 you’ll hear guitarist Alvaro Pierri on “Fiesta”.

Wednesday night November 30 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra”.  Augustin Hadelich is the soloist in Britten’s “Violin Concerto”. Music Director Ken-David Masur conducts. Also on the program Korngold’s “Suite from ‘Captain Blood’” and Shostakovich’s “Suite from ‘The Golden Age’”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  Leonidas Kavakos is the soloist in Korngold’s “Violin Concerto”. Alan Gilbert conducts.  Also on the program Nielsen’s “2nd” and “3rd” symphonies and Beethoven’s “Coriolan Overture”.
