Despite a fast start, Illinois remained winless in Big Ten conference play with a loss at #21 Indiana.

Hot shooting, strong rebounding and balanced scoring helped Indiana beat the Illini men 78-68 last night in Bloomington.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — Heading into Saturday's game, Indiana was 0-6 in the Big Ten. Losing that many conference games makes it hard to find something to play for late in the season, but the Hoosiers didn't have to look far.

The Indiana Hoosiers calmed their fans by sending them into a frenzy. James Blackmon Jr. scored 25 points, Thomas Bryant added 20, and No. 25 Indiana snapped a three-game losing streak with a 96-80 victory over Illinois on Saturday night.

 Yogi Ferrell scored 27 points as No. 18 Indiana used a huge second half to rout Illinois 74-47 on Thursday night.
