Sunday night November 9 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “Illinois Classical” you’ll hear music by Tchaikovsky and Brahms on the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 7:00 you’ll hear concertos from Argentina and Brazil on “Fiesta”.

Sunday night June 16 the Evening Concert starts at 5:00 o’clock with the “Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival”, followed at 6:00 by the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”, at 7:00 by Fiesta, and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.

Thursday night March 30 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra” led by guest conductor Osmo Vanska. You’ll hear Bernstein’s Overture to Candide and Berlioz’s “Symphonie fantastique”. Also on the program Joan Tower’s “A New Day” for cello and orchestra.

Sunday night August 7 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Brahms’ “2nd Viola Sonata” on the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 8:00 you’ll hear music by by Joseph Bologne le Chevalier St. George and others on “Fiesta”.

That would be the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, and our own East Central Illinois Youth Orchestra ranks right up there with them....(although we're not going to hear from them tonight, alas...)
