ILLINOIS CLASSICAL: The Evening Concert: MARCH 1 – 2 –3 – 4 – 5 – 6, 2026 

Friday night November 7 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “Illinois Classical” it’s “Heifetz On Air”. You’ll hear chamber music masterworks by Schubert and others from the 2025 Heifetz summer season recorded at the Shakespeare Center. 

Friday night March 28 at 7:00 on W-I-L-L 90.9 FMHD1 it’s “Early Music Now with Sara Schneider”. You'll hear a program titled “A Bach Family Album”. Broadcasting this program Friday nights at 7:00 permits us to collect new local recordings for use on future “Prairie Performances”.

Monday night March 10 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on W-I-L-L 90.9 FMHD1 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Tchaikovsky’s “5th Symphony”.  Also on the program Carter Brey plays Dvorak’s “Cello Concerto” and two of the “Suites for Unaccompanied Cello” by Bach.

Friday night December 20 at 7:00 on WILL 90.9 FMHD1 it’s “Early Music Now with Sara Schneider”. You'll hear a program titled “A Star in the East”.  Broadcasting this program on Friday’s at 7:00 PM gives us time to collect new local recordings for use on future “Prairie Performances”.
